put this in third tri but thought id put it in here too.

hi ladies.. i wasnt sure where to put this but thought it would be best in here than second tri.

I know a lot of ladies use breathing monitors for their little ones and its usually the angel care ones which go under the mattress.

I just wanted to highly recommend the Snuza Alarms. I bought a snuza hero for my little one. It clips onto their nappy.. it can be set to beep every time they take a breathe so you have audio reassurance. It vibrates at 15 seconds of no movement is felt and then alarms at 20 seconds. It will also alarm if the respitory rate is less than 8 per minute.

The alarm is nice and loud and woke up very easily last night when it went off twice x

Thanks, I will definitely get this if the angelcare monitor doesn't work with the much thicker cot mattress when we move her from the crib x

We use a Snuza and love it!!! I'm convinced it saved my dd's life one night when she was tiny. It went off and when I went to her and prodded her she didn't respond, picked her up and she still didn't respond, jiggled her around and she finally took a breath. So scary, but if she hadn't had the Snuza on the outcome could have been uthinkable. I don't know why they are not more popular, they seem so much better than the angelcare mats. Maybe people just don't know about them.

i just dont think they're well known about to be honest. Ive never even seen one advertised anywhere x

Thank you for this! I wanted one that attached to baby instead of under the mattress but I hadn't seen them before! I will be purchasing one of these this time round:flower:

I've never heard of them before seeing it here, thanks for posting this. My little girl is Low Birth Weight so we really wanted piece of mind, especially when we first brought her home from hospital and she was so tiny x

I'm glad to help. I hope it gives you are much reassurance as it has for me x
