I had my 28 week appointment and was told baby is breech
did anyone else have this and did the baby move?

xx

Yep my baby is still breech now, but you have got plenty of time for the baby to turn yet, so dont worry about it.....My youngest was breech then transverse and didnt go head down till about 36 weeks or just after.....

Yes me
My baby switched positions so much it was unreal
I had almost 30 scans durning my pregnancy as i was Very High risk
and each and every time the baby was a diff position
he loved the Breech , was breech at 28, 29, 31, 33 and 34
Head down 30, 32, 35, 36 and 37 and i was scanned in between
all them and he was even sitting transevere in the morning and cud show breech or head down that night if scanned..

I was told they can switch about upto 37weeks
and my lil fella proved it was possible to right up intil the late stages..

deffo dont worry about breech position yet
34-36weeks wud be more a time to be concerned if your wanting a natural birth xxx

Yip my little one was the same and was still switching between head down and breech until last week. She has been head down for a week now and my fingers are crossed she doesnt turn again. Babies turn all the way, even in labour sometimes so dont worry yourself yet xx

At my appointment last week baby was head down - but midwife made sure I knew that meant nothing at this stage, as baby will turn and wiggle for a good few weeks yet. So - absolutely nothing to worry about yet hun x

i was told at 37 weeks that baby could be breach but even then they can still try and turn the baby. my baby wasnt breach though she just had a fat bum and midwife couldnt tell dif between bum and head hehe.
your baby still got loads of time to turn even if he/ she dont dr's can coax baby around in most cases wouldnt worry hun xx.

My baby was transverse from 20-25 weeks and At this stage most babys will turn. I was my midwifes only breach baby

Anna was breech all along - didnt turn once!!! It was very painful - her head was way up high in my chest - looked like I had 3 boobs with her head sticking out!!

We went to hospital for an ECV to try turn her at 38+ wks but it didnt work and Anna was born by planned c-section at 39+wks. Poor wee things thighs were jammed up to her armpits and they didnt come down for the first week after she was born!!

You do have plenty of time and most babies will turn-thats what I was told too!:flower:

I was told exactly the same at my 28 week appoinment last week. Most people have said that I have plenty of time for LO to move, in fact my little girlie seems to be having a party in there most of the time. She's moving ALOT more than my little boy ever did. Fingers crossed these little ones behave hey?! xxxx

I posted the same question a couple of weeks ago as I was worried about this too.

My LO keeps turning, she was breech at 25 and 28 week midwife appointments, was head down when I had a scan last Thursday but I'm pretty sure she's breech again now as I can feel a very hard uncomfortable lump in my ribs! :dohh: I am hoping she stays head down soon though as it is so uncomfortable when she is breech!

x

My LO was breech at 28 weeks but when I went for my 32 week appt it had turned and is now partially engaged so don't worry about it yet! there is still plenty time for turning

yes it happened to me when i had my last baby but the baby turned cephalic i.e head down at about 32 weeks. infact i thought i was going to have a cs but thank God she turned and was delivered vaginal. i believe the baby may still change in your case. good luck and God bless

My LO was head down at 28 weeks.. Then at my 31 week appointment she was transverse. I wouldn't worry you've got ages yet and they can turn right up to the minute you're waters break so I really wouldn't worry just yet :hugs:

Having a breech baby at that stage is not a problem. At 28 weeks the baby is still moving aorund all the time. You still have 12 weeks until your DD, so there is plenty of time for it to turn. My baby was technically breech until last week when I saw the midwife at 33 weeks; most of the time it was lying across my belly. The midwife saw me last week and for the first time, the baby was head down. I commented saying that it still moves a lot, and she said that for the next few weeks it could still turn around pretty easily, and that it wasn't an issue if it did come head up again. It's not until about 36 weeks that they start to focus on it being breech.

I was told my baby was breech around the same time as you. I'm 34 weeks now and she's STILL breech. Was told if she hasn't turned by 36 weeks I woud need to have a c-section, but I think they give you a presentation scan beforehand to make sure the LO hasn't turned in the meantime. xx

I saw a midwife this morning and she said breech at 28 weeks is fine and that we shouldn't really worry about baby positioning before 34 weeks - hope this sets your mind at rest a little - good luck x
