Mine is firmly staying put at the mo- because i had a c-section last time they want to scan me at 36wks and make a decision then, really hoping i can do something!

same hun just had my MW appt and baby is still breech, i have a appt at 36 weeks they will check the presentation then and decide what to do, :(

My little one is breech too but midwife never mentioned anything about c-sections - she just said baby is breech - plenty of time for it to move - see you at your next appt at 36wks!

Do a search on the net on how to turn a breech baby..

My baby is staying put knew he would he has been in the same position for weeks. He is breech and is a footling breech with both feet first. They cant offer me an ECV so Im booked in for a c section a week today. So scared.

Hope babies move for you ladies x

(((((((((((proud mummy)))))))))) I had a emergency section with my first, evryone I have spoken to who had an 'elective'(ha ha) section tells me it was a positive experience and that they work hard to make it nice
mama22more- internet suggests all fours which i have done and ice on the bump which i have done, nothing doing yet
ellie27- you can have a breech naturally so it maybe that is an option for me but they wont support me doing that as I had an emergency section last time
guess we just have to stay on all fours!!!
clair let me know if you manage to turn yours!

any news yet if your baby has turned i have no idea where mine is anymore i have appt next tuesday to find out xx

have an appointment with my midwife on wednesday-am fairly certain i can still feel its head up the top and its feet down the bottom :(
hope you get good news, let me know
anyone else had any change?

I just found out at my appointment at 31+1 my little monkey, who had been head down since 19 weeks, has now decided to turn breech. I'm praying he turns back round quick! xx

i had a appt today as i have loads of pressure low down its getting hard to walk and they confirmed baby still breech at 36+1 she said the bum is right down thats why im feeling the pressure, i have appt at consultant on tuesday for them to decide what to do :( im gutted she said they might try turn him but there is very real chance he will flip back

Claire - I am exact same!!

Little one has been breech all along - I have been doing all the exercises etc to try get baby to shift but she isnt moving!

Saw midwife yesterday at 36wks and baby is def still breech. So she has booked me in for a presentation scan at hospital on tuesday afternoon - then we will speak with the doctor to decide what we do next.

I have decided not to go for the manual turning that they offer - a few of my friends have gone thro this and had really bad experiences - so def not for me.

I dont know what else they will offer - will they just book a date for a c-section? I am happy with that. But I do not want them to do it too early - my dating scan put me at 13wks (although I am pretty sure I was only 12wks) so hope they dont want to do it at 38wks (am sure I will only be 37) and my bump is tiny and I know baby is small too. ARRGGHH!

talk to them about it ellie tell them you dont want the section booking to soon they will probs go for 39 weeks for you, im also not liking the idea of the turning thing, ive also been told my baby will need a scan on his hips when he is 6 weeks, she said if your baby is still breech at 36 weeks they offer you it regardless for the baby. :(

I dont want a section but i would rather that than try to labour with a bum 1st baby i would prefer elective than emergacy, i went into natural labour with my daughter at 38 weeks so ill probs ask if they can book it for around 38 weeks as i dont want to go into labour naturally and im measuring to my dates,

good luck, can you believe these babies are comfy in there! do you have loads of pressure low down?

Yes, it will be interesting to hear what the have to say on tuesday - hopefully they will book me in at 39wks rather than earlier.

I have got no pressure at all - babies body is lying right across my belly button and head and feet pointing upwards - like a U shape - but bum is not low down -its sitting along middle of my tummy.

I am still getting lots of movement and rolling so am hoping baby starts going in the right direction - doubt it tho - think its about time I done some more crawling...... I have done all the handstands/crawling/bum in air etc - several times a day but nothing!

yes ive been doing all the 'on all 4's' and everything as well but this one isnt moving his bum is engadged! i thought he had turned as i just feel so much dragging down and pressure but they said it was his butt! lol cnt believe it im gutted. Anyway ill keep this post updated xx

just want to wish u luck i had scan this morning and my baby gone headown, and 3/5 engadged so there is still chance xx

I had to have jax by "elective" section coz he was adamant breech was best, never ever in my life again will i put myself through it

My little boy was breech from 30 weeks bum firmly wedged into my pelvis, ecv failed so ended up with a C Section

My daughter was an undiagnosed breech, they didn't know till they saw her bum lol! Anyway I had her naturally and it actually wasn't too bad. The only complication was that it dislocated her left hip on the way out (DDH) but scans didn't pick it up till she was 6 months so we did have a bad time but all is good now. Anyway just wanted to let you know that natural delivery is possible but obviously in my case her hips did get affected. Good luck and hope your breech babies turn! x

Claire thats fab baby has turned!

Mine has not - waited for an hour today for a scan for them to confirm this- though I could have told them without waiting for a scan!!!

Didnt bother waiting to speak to consultant - was told it could be a 2 hr wait to see them and they would go over the manual turning procedure that we had decided already against.

So, have an appointment to go back see them again this time next week - I will be 37+4 then - doubt baby will have turned although I will stay positive and keep doing all the exercises - Baby has been in this position for at least 10wks now and is obviously comfy!

Dizzymoo- you said 'never again will you put yourself thro it again' -do you mean having a section??

:flower:

The all fours position, is it literally just on all fours, with your arms slightly lowered so bum is in the air? I'm terrified of the thought of C Section so although it's early I'm desperate to get him back head down asap! xx
