Those of you who have had (or attempted) a vaginal breech delivery I would love to hear your experiences please.
My hospital is putting pressure on me to have a cesarean next week which I'm not keen on. I've looked into hiring an independent midwife and having a home birth but that's not an option. However I do have a doula and IM advocating for my hospital allowing me to have a vaginal delivery. Two of the four doctors have experience with breech deliveries and one is on this week and he is happy to let me have a natural birth, however the following two weeks the doctors without any experience are on so we are hoping that one of the other two doctors will agree to come in if I don't go into labour this week. Otherwise my only options are the cesarean or a three hour drive to the nearest hospital that routinely does breech deliveries, whilst in labour.
I'm confident in my ability to birth this baby but I'd love to hear positive experiences from others who have done it to get me in the right head space as there's so much negativity and fearmongering about breech babies.
