Bridesmaid dilemma

So this sort of following my thread on dresses...

I am asking my SIL to be MOH and was gonna ask my 3 year old sister to be flower girl...but...I am rethinking the wholee flower girl thing now.

Reason is,i have a brother who is 10 and my mum will want me to ask him to be page boy and i only want my LO to be page boy,he will be 2 by then and walking so he would be the only one.

So i think iv decided not to ask my mum if my sis can do it as it wouldnt be fair iykwim?

but i know my mum will be mad so how would you tell her that none of them will be in the wedding?

Maybe ask you bro to be an usher? That way he gets to be part of the wedding party, but your lo is the only paigeboy andyou get to have your flower girl too.

Maybe you could get your brother to help show people to their seats or something, give him some sort of responsibiltiy? That way he's still involved and you could still have a flower girl?

I thought about that but OH has already picked his ushers and he has asked them already and we arnt really having a big enough wedding to have a 3rd usher...also there is the cost of hiring an extra suit. We arnt spending a hell of alot
