Hi All
I am about to spend out on our 3rd car seat in 4 months! We have had issues with DD loving the rear facing one in my car but not liking her current forward facing one with a safety bar (rather than a harness) in OH's car. She screams and squirms so much that he now hates taking her out with him.
I am looking for a group 123 combination seat with a traditional harness and I am hoping for some opinions please on the Britax Evolva 123 Plus. Having spent the best part of £500 already on car seats this year for DD, I am looking for cheap and cheerful that I wont have to replace for a long time and this one is on sale for under £100 in lots of stores.
OH's car is an old Astra, non isofix and with quite dipped seats so its a nightmare to get anything to fit very well.
At least with a combination seat, it can be moved into my car when she outgrows the rear facing one at around 4 years old and the current hated one can go back into OH's car with a seat belt rather than the safety bar and hopefully, journeys will be peaceful again!
