Broken boobie!!

So, I had a mild case of mastitis!! I was able to feed and massage through it without antibiotics. I fed and fed and fed from the affected boobie ( always his least fav one but he'd been getting better with it) now it's cleared up he WILL NOT feed from it.... Hours if trying and crying ( me and him) and he just won't take more than a suck it 2 (this is the lady 48 hrs btw). I've just gone to express it ( gave in to the screams and gave him the 'good' boob) and nothing.... Not a drop!!!! Tried electric, the manual pump and hand expressing and there was nothing there!!! I'm in tears (again) I don't know what to do!!! I need him to feed from it fit it to work but he won't feed!!!! Help me!!!!

I've been through this. The best I could figure, she didn't want the "bad" boon because it was slower or maybe tasted different when blocked. (I've heard that can happen.) What I did was start her on the "good" one and switch when/if she got drowsy. It took a couple of weeks, but she takes that one just as well as the other now.

If that doesn't work for you, you can successfully bf with only one. You'll just be lopsided.
