Broken finger

My 11 year old daughter broke her little finger friday luchtime at school playing football

Anybody else ever broke theirs?
She has an apt for fracture clinic thursday x

Once i closed my car door, and my daughters finger had been slightly in the door.
I screamed, she screamed, and her finger was purple.
I took her to A&E and it had only been badly bruised! Its amazing how strong those fingers are.

Anyway...so the above was a bit off topic

They dont tend to do anything but strap it to another finger xx

They won't really be able to do anything beyond, as Elli21 said tape it to another finger, or maybe put it in a brace but that's not seen hardly ever. It'll heal quickly, especially on a child.

Yip, I broke fingers on numerous occasions as a child. They do just strap it to the next finger to act as a splint. One time when I had one of my worse breaks on 2 fingers, they made me wear a sling to drain the swelling. I was unlucky with fingers but have never broken anything else! Touch wood
