Brown discharge at 34 weeks

Hi all

Am 34wks and been having brown spotting on and off for last 24hours. A little the day before too.
Not much at all, its just there in my panty liner.

Also been having period pain for last 5 days on and off. Saw midwife 3 days ago and she said it was due to stretching.

What dya think?

Also...not feeling baby move much the last week. Midwife heard heartbeat at apt but i dont know.

Is it just my body changing in preparation for birth in few wks??

I would contact someone and go and check it out especially as you have reduced movement that alone I'd get checked out.

Little Megan was born 5 hours ago. 6wks early, no known cause. Very quick labour that ended in emergency c section.

But she is doing really well. Breathing and feeding on own.

Listen to me...if something doesnt feel right, get it checked. So glad we did.xx

Congratulations! Wow! I could have written this. I don't have the brown discharge but have had the bad lower back pain and period cramping which stays for couple of hours at a time. Shifts slightly with paracetamol. I'm 37 weeks today, baby movin as normal. Wonder if this could be it for me too....
What reason did they give for your cramps and spotting? X
