Brown spotting month after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage on the 24th of february and the bleeding only lasted about 8 days i started having brown spotting yesterday and now have menstrual like cramps. Is this the start of my period and my body is just getting rid of old blood first?

Don't want to scare you - I don't know much myself. But I heard brown spotting is not a good sign. Can be a sign of problems with low progesterone, or with thyroid, or something else. Worth talking to a doc at some point (I just read about today and realized that I used to have it myself months before my miscarriage).

I know theres no chance I could be pregnant. I think it's just my period coming

yeah, i had those when i wasn't pregnant, rather months before my pregnancy...; but i read that when these happen they are a sign that some things might be wrong.. i never mentioned it to my doc, but i will as soon as i see her..

Brown spotting is old blood, and probably just the start of AF, it would only be a concern if you were pregnant but as you aren't dont worry.

I had brown spotting all the way through M/C, but always get it at the start of AF, so if you are cramping too shes probably on her way.

It's probably a sign your period is coming like you said, as when I'm due I get brown discharge kind of before AF does come.

well, that's what i used to think, too, until i read it can be a sign of something else; hopefully not for you...
