Hey ladies!

A little about myself! I am in my early 20's and DH in his early 30's. I work as a Graphic Designer and live about an hour south of Toronto, ON.

I have been TTC for 2 years, and in that time I've only had 5 cycles. My current CD being 120-something.

We went to the doctor and he ran some tests. I got blood work and an ultrasound which all came back perfect. In June he referred me to an infertility specialist for further testing. That appointment isn't until December.

None of my friends understand what this feels like. They are either not in the stage where they are ready for kids, or they got pregnant accidentally/immediately and don't know the feeling of having absolutely no control over when they conceive.

I need a buddy who is going through some of the same things. Lots of venting, laughing and probably some crying.

Hi Dottiee, I just finished a 100+ day cycle. Have you talked to your DR about clomid or any other medicines to help control your cycle a little better? My doctor put me on a 10- day progesterone prescription to jump start AF and hopefully "reset" my cycle...I don't know if it worked yet but I did get AF from the withdrawal of the progesterone and now it seems like I am nearing ovulation for the first time this year. Good Luck TTC!

Last time I saw my DR I mentioned progesterone and he said he'd have to look into it. The next time I see him is Nov 13. We talked about clomid but he's not going to prescribe any. He's very hesitant to prescribe me anything because this isn't his area of expertise.

So I have to wait until December when I see the specialist to get anything that might help.

Good luck with this cycle!! Buy a ton of ovulation tests to make sure you don't miss it! Finger crossed hun!!

Are you seeing a general practitioner or an OBGYN? I would suggest seeing an OB about irregular periods...that is what I did, since she can't "treat" me for infertility since it hasn't been a year she is just treating me for my irregular period. I hope you get some answers.

...I bought a huge pack of online OPKs...now I can't stop POAS!!

I'll be seeing an OBGYN, and apparently he's the best in the region so I guess it's worth the wait!

I'd be doing the same thing! Make sure you update when you find out if you're ovulating!!
