Exclusively bf'ing and wondering do I need to make sure he burps in between boobs and after he's done? I try to but don't always get a burp and sometimes he falls asleep right after and I don't want to wake him. Could not always burping him attribute to his fussiness?

Not sure how old your Little One is, but now that my son is a bit older, I can tell when he needs to burp. He falls asleep while nursing all the time and i never wake him. He doesn't seem uncomfortable and usually wakes up very happy.

If he is fussy during or after the feed, there is a good chance it is because there is a bit of air trapped in there. So, when in doubt (especially if he is still very young) try to get a burp out. But if he seems comfortable throughout feeding I wouldn't worry about burping between the boob swap.

I burp when she's fussy during feeding. I try to burp after when she's awake but if I don't get one within a few minutes I assume she's fine. I also don't wake her if she falls asleep.

She is a windy baby though. Don't really know if it's a problem or not.
