Hi

I know there is a thread regarding Johnson & Johnson with a few ladies recommending these products but I wanted to ask specific about these before I buy.

Which do u use? Which products? I've looked on burts bees and there is a fragrance free no tears shampoo and body wash, is anyone using this or are they using the normal stuff?

I haven't used any lotions on my LO but do u use them and think they are worth it? He doesn't get dry skin just a bit of cradle cap on his head x

For the cradle cap I would use dentinox cradle cap shampoo, that stuff helped my LO cradle cap disappear for good, at that point I wasn't using anything other than water and olive oil on him x

Yes, we use the Burt's Bees tear free shampoo and body was an we like it a lot. It does not dry out the skin and is not so sick. But it still makes nice bubbles and rinses easy. We use Aveeno cream when he does get dry skin for whatever reason but plan to switch to a more natural lotion or Shea butter.

It's so dependant on the baby, I bought burts bees fragrance, mmmm it smells lush, but that still dries out LO's skin :( Hehe, have most the bottle left, you are welcome to have it!

Now I just use oilatum which the doc gives (baby eczema) and the detinox shampoo to cure his cradle cap (was using coconut oil, but was using a bit of the BB shampoo to get the oil out, so drying his head... was pointless lol)
Now I get to use the coconut oil as moisturiser, darn.. :winkwink: :haha:

I will order some burts bees to start, feel unique website it's only £6 a bottle and free delivery xxx

I prefer the Shea Moisture line of products myself.

I love Burt's Bees baby stuff... I sometimes treat myself by using some of the shampoo on me . I didn't use it when my girls were babies but it's fine on my fairly sensitive skinned 3 year old (the normal baby shampoo/body wash and the bubble bath). We have the fragranced stuff, it smells divine! It's definitely not the most chemical free stuff you can get though. Worth a try but if it doesn't work so well for you, there are loads of more gentle options. The nappy cream is great too (not completely cloth safe if you're using cloth nappies but it's not too bad and fine if you use a liner).

which website is this? I always wanted to try Burt's Bees but it seemed so expensive. I have been using earth friendly baby (which is still a bit expensive) as it was a little cheaper than the Burt's Bees stuff I had seen.

I use Shea Moisture and California Baby, I really love them both, but I prefer the natural lavender scent of the California Baby.

I really like Earth Mama Angel Baby products as well, but I have to go to Whole Foods to get them, so I don't have any. Shea Moisture and California Baby are available at Target, so I use them...

Burts Bees are okay, I use the chapstick, but they are not a small brand or anything owned by Clorox.

I am a huge earth mama fan. We use the baby wash, baby lotion and bottom balm.
