i want to get DD and DS a wooden train set Would it be wrong to get them it as a joint pressie? They have there "main pressie" each, just thinking about buying them something to share lol

Not if they have a present each anyway! It would be nice for them to know they have to share something.

Im thinking this may be the route we will have to go down, we currently have 2 year old DS and another DS due very soon. But I also Childmind so have so many toys, but they are all dowstairs and shared by everyone, it will just seem to odd to have toys that belong to each child, but I suppose those will go up in their rooms when they want to do that.

But seeing as we will have 2 boys who will most probably already have every single toy possible - because of Childminding - I expect we will do a few presents each and then maybe one joint expensive one like a game console thing or tv to share in the kiddy room etc.

I dont see a problem with it at all, I think its a good thing that they dont just expect to have everything to themselves and keep saying 'thats mine' all the time.

Because mine are close in age they often have gifts to share .... last year it was a Wii and then a game each to be in charge off lol,
As long as there's other bits for them to unwrap i think joint presents are great.

I see no problem with it so long as they have their own gifts too. Oh and I were going to give our ds and dd something to share but just couldn't think of anything lol

Yeah they have all there pressies too lol just wanted to get DD one but think DS would like it too! It's reduced from 80 to 40 lol bargain!

Nothing wrong with having a joint present. I've done that with my older daughter and son when they were younger.
