Buying baby stuff while TTC

I know I will probably get a lot of negative comments, but is there anyone else out there who considers buying baby stuff while TTC? I am 26 and this is our first month TTC. I know that it may take a while, but I am just so excited! I only want to buy stuff that I think I won't be able to find later. I also want to have some stuff to help ease the financial stress later. What are your thoughts?

I think this post may be better in general TTC not in groups x but for me I collected a few things through freecycle etc but didn't specifically buy things before hand

I've been ttc for 5 years and buy things! I don't go overboard, but I love Dr sues and bought tons of books, and got some little baby converse that I found at a resale shop. Just little stuff. It gives us hope!
