It's a pretty long story of mine.. sit down and have some coffee if you would be interested to know my prelude before asking my question about buying Clomid online.

So! I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 15. I met my husband at 17, married young and from the age of 18+ had unprotected sex for years. (I am 29 now) I was never successful in achieving pregnancy. Went to the doctor, she prescribed Provera + Clomid, we conceived the first month! At 20 weeks, I almost lost him and needed an emergent cerclage, bedrest and had him at 29+6. He's almost 5 now and perfectly healthy. When Ayden was five months old, my paraguard fell out and I became pregnant with his little brother. Had a cerclage at 16 weeks, went full term. Had obstetric Cholestasis, he almost died in utero due to an undiagnosed ABO incompatability. My youngest, Gabryl, was born with a severely high bilirubin level and underwent triple blood transfusions and triple phototherapy. He is almost four and completely healthy.
My high risk doctor said he would have to refer me to a fetal medicine specialist if I ever conceived again. He highly advises against it, but after 12 months of research of ABO incompatability, I have learned that you only have a 50% chance of having it in later pregnancies. My high risk obgyn doesn't want to refer me to a fetal medicine specialist to obtain clomid.

After spending the last three years getting my hypothyroidism back under control, the PCOS is still posing a problem. I am not ovulating until cd50+ and I believe I am releasing very low eqq quality eggs. I know how to use clomid and quite frankly I'm sick of someone else telling me I can't have another child. It's hard to explain, but I have my maternal instinct telling me I could have one more healthy baby. I am desperate to try for a little girl. I really feel like my life wouldn't be complete without one. Adoption is out of the picture, as my husband shamefully is not comfortable with it. I have seen clomid for sale online, but a little sketchy as to if it's really clomid or some knock of brand that's going to put my ovaries in a fit of rage.

Please no bashing or judging. After 28 months of TTC, my friends having little girls, I'm really emotional and will go to my own extremes to have another baby. My life plan was to have three children under the ages of 6. I want them to grow up together.

Any input ladies? Thank you for your thoughts!!

Hi there,

While I understand your desperate for another baby (I had to use IVF for my first after LTTTC), as a nurse I urge you not to take medications purchased off the internet. You really don't know what it could actually be, and that is extremely dangerous.

Is there any alternatives, can you change doctors or something? I know it's not fair for her to say no you can't have any more children, but there is a 50% chance of something going wrong with this baby too, and that's quite high really. Your doctor wouldn't refuse clomid unless there was a pretty good reason though.

You could change to another obgyn and tell them what has been going on though..

Is adoption really off the table? What about a surrogate?

Good luck to you!
xx

Have you considered soya isoflavones? Apparently they work in a similar way to clomid and lots of ladies have great success using it.
I'm not sure where you live but I'd be very wary of buying any sort of medication online.
I totally understand your maternal instincts and frustrations, and I know it's not the answer you wanted but it would be irresponsible of us to encourage you to buy something that may cause you harm.
Also regarding the late ovulation- I fell pregnant with my 6 year old on cd 100+, late ovulation doesn't automatically mean poor quality.
Best of luck in your journey- I hope you get your baby.

Thank you ladies. I knew I wouldn't hear what I wanted to hear, just looking for other women's thoughts.
I have done research and found the clomid from India was safe and successful. I'm not saying that my doctor won't write me the clomid, he wants to refer me to a fetal medicine specialist to have them give me the clomid. Fetal medicine specialist is a 6 month wait for an "inquiring non-pregnant patient" As for the 50/50 chance of having complications, that's a risk I'm willing to take. Child bearing has never been easy, but I have never complained. I'll definitely look into the Soya! Thanks :)

I understand where you are coming from. As an obese woman I was denied clomid for a long time. I saw so many ads for clomid online that I was so tempted to dose myself. I finally found a doctor who put me on letrozole (Femara). I never thought it was fair that I was denied due to size. I am fully aware of the risks. I have pcos as well and when I was diagnosed no one told me how to manage it. My new doc felt the same as me. He said...we don't stop overweight women from getting pregnant so why should we not try and help them.

My points being lol:

1) try to find a new doc that will help you
2) consider femara as it has a short half life in the body and by the time you ovulate it's gone. It doesn't thin the lining and there are higher success rates (I'm one...on my 3rd cycle I am pregnant).
3) I highly suggest you don't get it from some random sites. You have no idea what you are actually buying. Not only could it be some low quality brand but it may not even be clomid. You could be taking something completely different.
4) possibly look into current pregnant ladies that may have some left over from a large prescription? I'm not sure of the rules for that on forums and my disclaimer is that you are not supposed to take someone else's prescription and again, you get that trust issue if they are really giving you the proper meds.

Hope this sort of helps.

Have you tried Vitex? I was never diagnosed with PCOS but I was showing a lot of symptoms (acne, pain in right ovary, long cycles). We were trying for a year to get pregnant and it just wasn't happening. I started taking Vitex and got pregnant within 2 months. I am now almost 12 weeks pregnant :) no ovary pain and no acne!

@Ayla- I'm so sorry!! Luckily, my doctor never denied me cloud because of my weight. I've never even heard of that! ! That's awful! ! I may be looking for a new OB to refer me. Logically I know it's very risky to buy from someone who doesn't even need a prescription! They could be putting anything into the pills.
I was kinda hoping someone would comment and be like hey I have some left over clomid!! Haha jk.. or not. I would never want to get anyone into trouble!
@mely- how did you ingest the vitex? How did you find out a dosage and what days did you take it??

Hmmmm. I'm going to send you a PM.

It comes in capsule form and I just followed the directions on the bottle. 1-2 pills once per day. You can buy it on Amazon or your local health food store.

I have done a lot of research on this herb and have had great success. It helped my ovary pain and manage my acne. My doctor would tell me to just take painkillers for the pain but it never fully went away. I always had this heavy feeling on that side. Once I started taking Vitex I was feeling normal again. The ovary pain was 90% better and completely went away about a month or so after I found out I was pregnant. I stopped taking Vitex probably at 6 weeks pregnant.

Some women took a lot higher doses of this herb for more severe symptoms. Some have even taken it throughout their 1st trimester to help prevent miscarriage.

Hi Nicole:flower:

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I can only imagine what a tough time you are having and have had over the last few years.

Have you tried taking fertilaid? It has vitex in it as well as lots of other pre-natal vits to get your cycles in line. I was struggling to conceive my 3rd child and after a year of trying (and having very long irregular cycles) I came across it. I got pregnant first month of taking it and am now nearly 12 weeks. If you go onto the fertilaid official website you can see all the info and reviews. It is described as a "natural clomid" and when you read the reviews there are literally hundreds of ladies with PCOS who swear by it. Not sure where you are but I'm in the UK and bought it off amazon but think it's much cheaper if you are in the USA.

Just think this will be a safer and more natural bet for your body than on-line clomid. For a start, you can see a breakdown of the ingredients on the bottle.

Good luck
