Buying for baby before pregnant... Anyone?

I have mixed feelings on this issue. I am so scared I can't conceive I don't want to buy anything baby related in case I never do conceive. But today I broke down and bought a family picture frame. I figure if it never happens I can still use it. But I am going to save it and if I do conceive I have a place for pictures!

Anyone else?

I saw a lady on YouTube who had been buying for two years for a baby she hadn't conceived yet. I wish I could but it would be to hard on me. Just going near the baby isle is hard.

I had wanted to but then my mother told me it was bad luck so I didn't....kinda...One of my DH's close friends has been ttc as long as we have and she just told us a couple of weeks ago that she's expecting. So I started buying little boy and girl stuff (since it's too early to know what she's having), I figure whatever she doesn't have maybe I will so that doesn't really count, right? Lol
