C&g problems pooing?

My little one is 5 weeks old and has been having breast milk and the occasional bottle of cow and gate. Since we increased the formula I think he is having trouble pooing. He hasn't been for 24 hours and seems to have tummy ache and rumbly tum, he was a very windy baby when ebf too tho. Should I try a different formula? When he does poo it's still runny

My little boy is constipated at the minute and we were on C&G. I don't know if it's linked or just because he's so little and getting used to it. We've just changed the formula today to SMA Gold to see if that does anything.

sorry i can't be more help there. Ethan doesn't have any runny poos and hasn't for about a week.

Our lo is on sma gold, my mw told me that formula can make them constipated so once a day give him the ready made sma gold, winch will help keep him moving. If that fails we also rub his tummy in a circular motion and that always produces a pooh in the next few hours!

hi ya i have just changed from the sma to aptimail due to constapation ( my LO was screaming in agoney when they needed to poo) i tried the c&g comfort first and she screamed all day on that the aptimail seems to be working and not so many tears now. she still strains to go poo but it is soft and yellow.
