C section booked - June 15th

Eeekkk today the hospital booked my section for june the 15th. Im feeling really anxious now. I had a emergency section with my now 7 year old boy (due to drop in heart rate) so having a planned one this time, please give me some positive stories, im feeling anxious x

I'm sure it will be great. Planned cs are supposed to be do much better and easier than emcs. Enjoy your new baby!

I don't have anything personal to tell you (yet! Booked for the 9th, myself) but a few friends of mine who have had both planned and emergency have said their planned was a breeze to go through!

Aside from a grumpy tech, my c section was a pretty good experience. It wasn't planned, but it wasn't emergency either. They had been warning me it could happen from about hour 18 after water breaking a d hardly dilating even with pitocin. A new Dr came on duty and was like "we're prepping you for a c section so get ready" at about 8pm. At 8:20 they came and got me, prepped me, brought dh in, and at 8:48 swas was born. Recovery was a breeze and the bleeding stopped completely at 4 weeks exactly. I was fine to get up and go do my thing in less than 2 weeks and never was in excruciating pain afterwards.
