I'm 7 months pp and I have that - but it's not too bad. I've heard that it's like that because your muscles are now split. Pilates might help. Good luck
yes its to do with a few things, one being the muscles separated and the other is a hormone thing, once you stop breastfeeding and have three menstrual cycles you should notice a drastic shinkage in the bump as the hormone relaxin does not settle until three full periods have passed. After my first AF my bump shrank to half the size, its only a little ball of a bump and i do not need a belly band to hide it but i still use it
give it time and it will go
My CS was exactly 4 weeks ago an my scar is pretty low but it goes higher on the right side and my little paunch seems much more pronounced on that side! I can't even exercise yet so I know it's early days, but I'm definitely worried this new belly is here to stay - eek
3yrs later and the pouch is still there, although not nearly like it was after the C.
Wish i knew the secret excersize to get rid of it fully, even with a growing belly, it's not smoothing out round it's just gonna get worse, oh well. The joys of being a mother :/
