c section nb 2 infection

just wondered if anybody else has had a post op infection called celuitus i cant spell it by the way i had a course of antibiotics and it cleared up pretty much straight away..i didnt have it with my first section, although i did have another infection where my scar got a bit smelly:shrug but that also cleared up eventually.

I have had this in my foot and leg, although not related at all to a CS-i was in hospital with endocarditis (heart valve infection) it is basically an infection below the skin and was the most painful experience of my life, lol! Cleared up withing 10 days with iv antibiotics and ALOT of morphine!!! They said i must have had a break in the skin on my foot and thats how the bacteria got in, i cant think about it too much, still makes me cringe! Glad yours cleared up quick!
