Calling all single jet setting mummies

I need holiday ideas!!
Me and Amelia need a holiday so bad, can anyone suggest anywhere?
If its in the UK it needs to be near transport links as i dont drive.
If its abroad, well, anywhere! Somewhere that speaks good english though.

I don't know what to suggest - my friend just booked a few days out in spain and he doesn't drive :-S

i'm waiting til I pass my test then me and Chloe will be off far far away..... or maybe the lakes?? I love cottages in the Uk?? usually they say how far is the nearest train station and all that jazz.

i can get a friend to take us to the airport if i go abroad and anywhere close by i would have thought, but if its in the UK i'd rather go myself, you know? independance and all!

Id like a cottage but it costs so much on your own. maybe a nice b&b

I really want to take my LO abroad for a week but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to go just me and him.

London would be good, plenty to do and see for you both

I don't think i'd recommend going abroad just u and a toddler.. Its hard work!! I went to cyprus with my mum & dad for a week and that was bad enough lol. Stick to somewhere in UK.. I LOVE devon... I would imagine u could get a train etc.. xx

Cornwall is beautiful. You could get a train to Penzance and then on to anywhere. My brother lives in St Austell which is gorgeous.

Amelia is very well behaved and easily amused so i havent got a worry about taking her abroad

What about Jamaica...they speak english and you could find a nice all-inclusive for some mucn needed rest and relaxation.
