Can anyone advise me about progesterone please?

I was on vaginal suppositories twice a day. I know that they are better than pills but not sure about the injections.

I'm really sorry for all the questions, but what dose? How many mg did u use? My doctors don't know what strength to give me ? Can u believe that? Don't feel like I stand a chance if my doctors do t evn know! X

I was 200mg Prometrium 2X a day.

After 2 MC's, pregnancy #3 babe is due any day now

Ok ladies its me again, I got my progesterone 400 mg twice a day, but my docs said to take from bfp, I'm about 7 dpo at the moment, who thinks I should start using it now? Chances of me catching the egg this cycle were 50/50 we bd two days before ovulation and on day of ovulation. Had positive opks for two days only bd one of them, don't seem to have any symptoms but I never do really and it's a bit early for the ones I do get, so could be a waste? What are your thoughts?

Nats it can delay AF if you are not pregnant xx

Our careplan is from 7dpo, the Professor said because we need to make it super sticky from implantation. For me, its worth AF being a couple of days late to give (what I feel) a baby that extra chance of sticking. It is a tough decision for you.

Thanks hope and tasha, I'm not at all bothered about af being late, if I am pregnant then I would get a bfp by date af due, so I guess if I get negatives till day af should be there then I just stop using it, I got my appointment with dr s the day after af due,
Ooooo I'm confused, I guess it can't do any harm except delay af and that doesn't really matter, if I do get bfp then ill be glad I took it early right? Xx

Isnt dr S protocol from ovulation? Maybe ask Lee. Professor Quenby's is from 7dpo, IMO there is a reason why both of them suggest before BFP x

My RE always had me start progesterone a few days after ovulation. He told me if I waited til I got a BFP it could be too late. He always had me come in on 14 or 15DPO for a blood pregnancy test and I would stop if the test was negative and AF would normally show up a few days later.

Although this time around my cycle was cancelled so I had no idea I was pregnant so didn't start taking my progesterone til I got a BFP and everything is ok.

There's no need for it if you have a normal LP until after and it could mess up your cycles and make it longer to conceive again.

I had MMC in Jan 12 at 13 weeks and MMC at 9 weeks in Sept 12.

I have a short LP of 10 days, so consultant prescribed progesterone twice a day from 7 days after OV and to keep taking it until about 12 weeks if PG.

Got BFP just over 2 weeks ago and am taking 400mg twice a day vaginally.

Am hoping it will help me get my rainbow this time.
