hiya im quite confused about my bfs sa results, would any one be able to help me with whether his results are ok his doctor said they were ok but im not so sure. it says - liquifaction: in complete
viscous
ph 8.3
volume 1.5
concentration 63.5 million
morphology/normal 7%
motility rapid 25%
sluggish 13%
non progressive 9%
immotile 53%
vitality 71%
does any one know if we have a chance if conceiving with these results? thankyou xxxx

Sorry, I have no idea what your results mean. But can you call your Dr. and get her/him to explain it properly for you?

I am no expert but I would say you should be able to concieve with those results but the morphology(formation of sperm) is saying only 7 percent are normal. In an ideal world it would be over 15. This puts sperm in what they classify as a grey area. Its not great and it may delay things but it should be ok.my dh sperm is the same but that is not our problem, its my tubes. Lots of men improve morphology by simple lifestyle changes. Try to get OH to take vitamins, avoid alcohol, smoking, hot baths, caffeine and anthing else he enjoys!good luck.
