Hi ladies.
I'm so sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section. I'm just desperate to see if any of you have had this prior to you ttc again.

I had my bfp about 10 days ago. Delighted after trying for 18 months.

A few days after I could not keep any food or water down and was hospitalised again for hyperemesis. Had it with my previous dd. they had scheduled for me to have an early internal scan the 17 th June. My hcg was 524 on the 15th and had it double to 1324 on the 17th. From the 17th to the 19th it had only risen to 1505, had more bloods and from the 19th to today it has gone to 1751. The first internal scan showed only endometrial separation no sac. I had another scan today and the saw a sac measuring 4w +3d. They are concerned that my hcg hasn't doubled enough in the last 4 days. But from the first scan 4 days ago until today the sac was visable.

They keep on asking me if I have had any bleeds etc, or they are expecting me to bleed more like.

I guess my question is how if my hcg has only gone up by 400 odd in the last 4 days but in that time has managed to make the sac. I'm so distraught at them putting in my head I am going to bleed especially over the weekend....(I'm just sitting here waiting to bleed :( ) I go for more bloods on Sunday and another scan next Friday.
I'm so sorry if this is such a long post and possibly in the wrong section.....I'm just desperate for answers. Thankyou if you have read this far xx

I'm very sorry you are going through this. My personal experience with slow rising HCG never had a positive outcome, but there are women that have had slow rising HCG with a positive outcome. This is an incredibily hard time for you and no one can tell what the outcome will be- the "not knowing" I think is the worst. Try to keep yourself occupied (easier said than done). :hugs:

Sadly this was my experience as well. I hope things are ok with your little one. I swore I would never ever have hcg tested again because it was horrid to wait and not know what would happen. I do know that sometimes hcg just rises slowly but things are ok though. Keep hope.

hi tilly-maggie- i am in the same boat as you.. my hcg is doubling every 4 days instead of 2 although we did see a gestational and yolk sac... i go for an ultrasound on monday to check if everything is fine... i know how you feel.. but like the doctors told me.. its just a waiting game... lets just hope all goes well with us.. keep us posted

Thankyou all for your replies. I'm honestly just sitting here waiting for something to happen, bleed etc. I have another week to wait for a scan and more bloods tomorrow. So you think the hcg matters, as years ago it was a waiting game. I'm so confused as they saw nothing on the scan Monday and yesterday there was a sac measuring 4 weeks 3 days with just an increase of 400 in the 4 days.....arghhhhhhh xx

I'm going to echo the others and say my experience with low rising hCG levels did not end positively but it was also a chemical pregnancy. The sac was so small it never showed up on an u/s at all even though I was 7wks. They told me the pregnancy stopped developing before 5 weeks even though I didn't mc until 7. The fact that you saw a sac and your hormones are still going up is a good sign. Don't give up all hope yet.
