Hi,

as the title says really, can anyone recommend a good baby swing, suitable for a newborn, and not too expensive. Was initially going to get one off ebay but there's none locally and once the postage is added on they are almost as expensive as a cheaper new one. Ive seen the Graco Baby delight Apple and the Kiddicouture Lullaby Swing sea dreams on Kiddicare both which look adequate although the Graco doesn't play any music or sounds.

hi had one similar to this (different pattern on seat) and my daughters LOVED it x

I had the fisher price swing to rocker battery operated swing cost £99 and i hated it, baby slumped the the side in it and his head would rest on the metal bars, we had to use rolled blankets wedged either side of him just for him to sit straight and the head hugger out of his bouncer chair!

We ended up taking it back to mothercare and swapped it for a jumperoo for when he was a little older and it was the best investment yet, just a shame he is nearly too big for it now :(

I have this one for my son who is now 4 months he loves it, and it's very useful to be able to out him in it when i need a wee or something, a few times he has fallen asleep in it. The 6 tunes are only vaguely annoying and it's quite large , the seat doesn't have much padding and the toy bar is too high up, but other than all that it is good and useful and not too expensive, the other ones i looked at weren't so fun either! Good luck and happy swinging

I brought the mamas& papas dreamswing & love it. LO was fine in it from birth as it reclines and loved it. I think its quite expensive on their website but I got it from one of their outlet stores for £50
