Can anyone shed any light of metformin for pcos

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if any one could shed any light on the drug metformin for use in PCOS, I started my course today with 500mg then next week it's 1000mg then week after is 1500mg, I've only took one 500mg tablet today and had to run toilet twice and feeling nausea and not very hungry,

I was just wondering if there was any success stories I'm on metformin to help with weight loss and to try and help me ovulate
