Hi everyone

I'm on my first round of clomid 50mg and I'm obsessing a bit! Nhs won't pay for a scan but I went for one privately on cd14.

I had a 19mm follie on one ovary, a 14mm on another and 3 1 to 2 mm follies.

The sonographer said usually on clomid they like to see some more but as the woman struggled to find one of my ovaries and mistook something as an ovary at one point I don't think I will trust her opinion!

Can anyone tell me if this sounds good or not? Anyone Had good advice or description relating to an ultrasound?

Thank you so much in advance, going a bit nuts!

Sounds good to me, you have one mature follie and one that may continue to grow and mature later on

It sounds good....the 14 and 19mm follicles are close enough in size that they will both probably be viable eggs :) If they can get up to around 22 or so you should be in business!

I hope so, I don't get a clear positive on a cheapie opk thought I would with more than one egg!

That sounds great! The 14 isn't mature yet, but it could catch up!

On my last monitored cycle on CD 16, I had one 18.5mm follicle but I didn't get a +OPK until CD18 and then didn't actually ovulate until CD 20.

They should mature at about 1mm per day. If you are ovulating on your own (as opposed to a trigger shot), you still have some time left. I would think at least 3 or 4 + days. Clomid follicles tend to be larger...they may not ovulate until around 27mm or so.
