Hey Ladies, was wondering if i could join you? Never thought i would need to look in this section but i am now single and have been since the end of October when i walked out of the home i shared with my partner (of 5 years) and baby.

It was a very hard decision as we used to be such a good couple but he broke the trust and i always trusted him with my life. Whilst i was pregnant he was busy chatting to other girls on line because apparently i wasn't giving him much attention in the bedroom. He's 31 FFS!! He also lied to me a few times about different things and i felt like i was going mad. He was making me feel so insecure and on edge which isnt like me at all, i'm usually the most chilled out person. I've always been a strong independent person and will never put up with shit from a man. I did try to stay and hope things would get better but they didnt when the trust has gone its gone.

He is a good dad to our boy which i'm glad about but a crap partner in the end

You're right, when the trust has gone it is hard to get it back and even when it is back it never really is. You are such a strong person for admitting things weren't working and walking away to make a better life for yourself.

Thanks ladies I actually feel happier which is strange, probably because i don't feel anxious anymore. Just feel a bit sad that George won't grow up with his mummy and daddy together, but he will be a much happier boy as he won't know any different because he is to young to remember.
