Can i use compeed patches for coldsores?

Is it safe to use them? Ive had a cold for 2 days and now ive got a big coldsore under my nose Am i allowed to use them?

It says check with your midwife, but to be honest I only spotted this after using one continuously for the past 3 weeks (had a run of 3 coldsores hit me one after another).

I think it will be fine

Yeah they're fine, I used them when pregnant with my daughter after checking with the doc x

So glad i can use them. Ive got a massive one thats spread right under myy nose I think i caught it to late though as its all scabbed

I get really bad cold sores, I tried those patches a couple of years back and seriously I have never had a sore so bad. It spread from my nose to my mouth, and weeped for about 6 weeks. The patches caused it to not dry out so it couldn't heal. I know they work for some people, but just a warning! X

Ive used them before but normally before they scan over. They usually go quite fast but wow, this one is somethin else xx

I've used Zovirax cream, that's definitely safe.

kellie_w you jinxed me! lol. Woke up this morning and look horrific. Its spread around my nose now. So ive got it all over the bottom of my nose, on the tip and all underneath. I think id need a bandage to cover that up. I'd use the Zovirax but it just seems to make it feel even worse.

Its that bad i wont be leaving the house. Hope its better by wednesday as i have a scan. It so embarrasing
