This morning I posted in Babyclub asking the ladies who have had babies recently advice regarding loss of their mucus plug and how soon after baby came.

I asked this because I am only 32 weeks and have had my bloody show and am extremely worried that this means labour is coming sooner rather than later.

Someone has moved this post to Labour & Birth which is not where I want it to be!! The labour and birth section tends to be viewed my ladies who are still pregnant and my question was specifically aimed at women who had given birth and could help me!!

Moving this post to a section where I will not get advice from the people it was intended for has upset me greatly and I would be grateful if someone can explain why it has been moved. Surely as a member of this forum I can choose to ask a question to the people that I feel are best equipped to give me an informed answer??

Many thanks

Not sure why they moved it hun, however have you had an internal lately?I lost mine about 2 weeks before my little man arrived and then he only turned up because I was induced.xxx

Nope nothing - haven't even had sex in about 8 weeks!!

I am not sure who moved but I can see a few were moved to the correct section (a redirect has been left so the members in Baby Club can also see this question)

Labour and birth is the correct section for the question you had, that forum was made as Baby club was getting over run with pre birth questions..

Hi,

Forums are subject specific. Threads must be made in the relevant areas and remain on-topic.

Your thread still have a re-direct link in baby club, ladies there can still view & reply to your thread.

Unfortunately, we have to move threads to their proper forum, as it gets too crowded in some forums. Baby club is for questions related to babies only but your thread is related to labour & delivery.

We encourage members to use the relevant forum for their inquiries, this is why we move threads.

I agree with you. It's good that Jo has explained for you. I find it quite rude when people quote terms and conditions in quotation boxes, and find it much more palletable and helpful when someone takes the time to paraphrase and explain. I hope you find the advice you need even now your post is officially in the right section where less ppl will see it. Try not to worry, maybe search the baby club forum and the new shiny labour forum and see what ppl have said in the past x

You might find it rude, but not everyone gets the point when we try to explain so quotes are nessesary, especially if we are explaining to a member the forum rules.

We do have to go through many many posts each day and in our own time. Like it or not, quoting is just sometimes quicker for us to deal with.

They are in the terms and conditions of the forum, the ONES you agree to when signing up. They are VERY basic and very easy to understand.
