Brandon will be 7 weeks tomorrow and has been on Aptamil 1 formula since he was 5 days old.

I hadnt had any problems with him and in fact everyone commented on how lucky I was that he never seemed to cry.

However, the past few days he has changed and when we feed him his wind seems to REALLY hurt him. He is taking roughly 5oz every feed and we burp him about 4 or 5 times during his feed. Occasionally he will projectile vomit some of the milk back up when he burps. Then for about an hour after the feed, he seems to be really uncomfortable, as if he has a sore stomach

I dont think its colic as he doesnt cry for hours on end (which ive been told babies with colic do?)

Does anyone have any thoughts or am I just being paranoid?! I hate seeing him in so much pain!

Any input would be great!! xxx

cant be much help, but Summer went like this for a bit then settled down again. might just be one of them things?!

Thats what I was wondering, if its just a wee phase that will pass..

Thanks! :) xxx

Caitlyn went through a phase like this round this time, we changed her to Aptamil Easy Digest...same formula but easier for their little tums to digest...worked wonders for us. No pains anymore, wind comes right up and she seems a lot happier.

However, we did notice that this phase went within a week so if you want your LO to stay on the same milk...perserve with it. Go with your instincts is what I got told :)

Hi, my LO did this and has been diagnosed with Reflux. Does she show any other symptoms of Reflux?

my LO was a really windy baby and was diagnosed with reflux and was given gaviscon,

it sounds like reflux to me, if ur concerned pop 2 see your HV or GP

I would try gripe water mid feed, then at the end of the feed put him on his tummy over your knee for winding - worth a shot.

Thanks guys!! I took him to the doctor and she said he has a wee touch of colic so she gave us infacol and it has worked a treat :D So glad!! He burps without any crying now! And the projectile of the milk now only seems to happen if its his daddy thats burping him so I dont know whats causing that...maybe he hits him that wee bit harder than me or something!

Thanks guys for ur ideas!! So glad 2 have a happy baby again! :D:D xxx
