Hi ma Loveilies!

Just looking for a bit of reassurance that im not being a scrounge!

Posted a thread a while ago saying how we are taking the boys on holiday on 27th Dec for 6 nights over new year instead of going mad buying toys that they wont play with. (they dont have much interest in toys they much rather be outside/doing an activity).

Well I have been sticking with this and just looking for someone to tell me their lists are okay.

It seems like such a cut back to me. This picture is just the boys xmas presents. they also both had a giant sack AND a stocking EACH at the end of their beds as well as all the presents in this picture. Stupid right?

You have spent alot more than i have and i am not taking lo anywhere! It was his birthday less than a month a go and he is at nursery 4 days a week so no point going mad! To me it is more important to make a big fuss of the day than buy piles of toys that wont get played with!

Lovely lists hun. I think us parents have this inbuilt worry that what we do/give is never enough but those lists look lovely, really well thought out and a good variety.
