can we compare our babies weights?

Hi,

I got Brandon weighed on Thursday and he was 19lb 6 ounces, considering he was a big birth weight, 9lb 11, this didnt seem like a lot. Hes absolutely fine in the centile chart, 85% i think and the Hv said its fine, was just curious to compare weights with other mums who have boys of a similar age

Daniel was 14lb 12oz at 28 weeks.
He is now 9 months old and weighs 16lb 3oz!!
He is on the 2nd percentile

not sure exactly but my niece is about 25 weeks and weights just 15lbs something if that helps.
i'm sure once they start eating solids more and beginning to crawl/walk/run they will find there own balance.

Jamie was 8lb 13oz at birth and now at 12 weeks he is 15lb. He is in the 75 centile for weight and the 91st for height at 68cm. He has been following the same lines since birth.

Isla is the the same age as you LO I think, I last got her weighed 2 weeks ago and she was 19lb! Think she is in the 95th percentile!!!

My LO was 8lb7oz at birth, he was weighed yesterday (just after he'd been fed) at 13+3 and he was 16lb8oz............He's a big boy. Was born on the 75th and he's now around the 91st.

He was 7lb 4oz at birth.

He hovers between the 9th - 25th centile. Currently on the 9th.

bella was 7lb 1.5oz at birth. last time she was weighed, at 35 weeks, she was 16lb 13oz.

All the lines on the chart represent average babies so don't worry, my LO weighed 8lb 2 at birth, took 15-16 days to regain his birthweight fully, was 9lb 15 at 5 weeks, 11lb 15 at 8 weeks, 14lb at 12 weeks and I reckon either just under or just over 15lb now. He started off between the 50th and 75th lines, dropped to between the 50th and 25th at 2 weeks because the new charts still don't properly allow for babies losing weight in the first 14 days; then slowly but surely ever since he has been creeping up again and he is now close to where he started centiles wise. Recent research has found in the second half of their first year its totally normal for babies to gain as little as 2oz a week and the new growth charts reflect this; so I think 20lb is on the 50th percentile at one year. xx

Finley was 9lb 2oz at birth and is around 21lb at 7.5 months. He is a very long baby too!

Daisy was 20lbs at 4 months. 23lbs at 5 or 6 months. I don't know what she is now.

Im getting Aliyah weighed on Wednesday but i tried weighing her on my scales today and it said she was 20lb..Will see how accurate that is though!
Anyone tried weighing from home before?

Archie was 8lb 3oz born but was only 12lb at three months due to his tongue tie and had dropped from the 75th to below the 25th percentile.

He's 18lb now so just under the 50th percentile but he looks a right little chunk, looks a lot heavier than he is!! When I tell people he's almost eight months they always say.... oooooooh isn't he a big lad!!!! xxx
