Can we talk Pumpkin Spice, please.

I use the hummingbird bakery recipe. I dont add ground cloves and use mixed spice instead.

Pumpkin flavoured food stuffs are not so big in the UK. Since I got to the USA a few months though I've realised just how big it is here! I've never seen so many pumpkins in my life! I really want to try pumpkin pie but not sure what's it's supposed to taste like. Anyone know a really good recipe or really good one in a grocery store/restaurant I can try?

It tastes a bit like egg custard but a lot sweeter and less er... eggy

I have only tried pumpkin soup, which I love but haven't tried any other pumpkin-y things. I'm a little wary of trying a pumpkin latte, not sure how pumpkin would taste in coffee. I've never tried pumpkin pie either :O

Is pumpkin spice latte actually pumpkin flavoured coffee? I've not tried it I thought it was just a pumpkin flavoured milky drink sort of like chai latte.

Pumpkin spice latte really tastes more like nutmeg/a hint of cinnamon than anything else to me. I love them x

Yeah, the pumpkin spice latte is espresso, milk, and the pumpkin spice syrup (which doesn't really taste a whole lot like pumpkin, more like the spice you would use in pumpkin pie with a teensy hint of pumpkin).

BAHAHA! I love Ellen.

I bought some pumpkin chai tea from David's Tea today. It smells amazing, so thank you whoever mentioned that. :)
