Can't see that it's any different to birthing in a pool so a bath should be absolutely fine!

You can but i read somewhere that late in pregnancy you should stay out of bath tubs and pools cause it can cause more pain and discomfort during labor and if your doing a water birth to try not to get in the tub til your "so and so" dilated (cant remember if it was around 5cm or 8cm) Dont know if there is any truth to it though....like everything else they tell you NOT to do in pregnancy..
