Can you block the ads?

Is there a way i can block the ads on the site? Every time i'm looking at the forum an ad always seems to block the top part of my screen. Where the unread posts, PM info is etc. I end up closing the page to look at a different forum as i can't go back to the main forum screen easily.

I have tried to do a print screen of this but for some reason i can't on my mac!
