Can you ovulate 2 in one month?

i took 150mg of clomid and I used an at home ovulation test and I see the doctor for ultra sounds and blood work. I had a nice amount of eggs in both ovaries. Doctor said I had a nice egg growing in my left ovary after that visit I started testing at home and I got the positive that I was ovulating. We did the deed and went back to the doctor they said it was false because I still have a large egg still growing but this time it was in my right ovary. They say I will ovulate this week. Today I had spotting. I am wondering if it's possible to have ovulated out of my left and I am about to ovulate again but out of the right? I mean this ovulation is caused my strong meds so is it possible?

Do you happen to have PCOS? If so you can't use ovulation tests because they are inaccurate. PCOS women have high LH all of the time. But to answer your question yes it is possible to ovulate twice in one month.

No I do not have PCOS, I have a thyroid problem which tend to lower my hormones. I am excited if I ovulate twice. We would love to have twins.
