Can you still use the Ramzy method for gender if my placenta implanted directly...

Unfortunately not. It has to be to one side or the other between 6-8 weeks to make an accurate guess using ramzi. I will say mine was in the middle as well and I have a girl but I doubt that means much.
 
Usually no matter where it implants at in your uterus, you should be able to tell which side is thicker than the other. Looking at an ultrasound, either the right side or the left side will have a bit more white area than the other. The white area is your growing placenta.
