Canadians - maple syrup advice

I opened a can of your finest amber liquid today and I've decanted it into a glass jar. How long will it last in the fridge? Got the top covered with aluminium foil.

p.s I made pancakes this morning with rice milk instead of normal and they were amazing, makes the pancakes really light and fluffy.

can you put it in a glass jar with a top? Like a mason jar maybe?

It should last a long time. There isn't anything in it to go bad. We keep this stuff for a while

Opened container will last up to a year in the fridge. Mmmm! Pancakes!

i aint canadian but i wish i didnt read this title and am afraid to read the post as i now want a jar of proper maple syrup ! that stuff is just fantastic! anythuing maple rocks my boat.
