Cancelling Class During Parent-Teacher Conference Week

I was trying to google this but couldn't find much info so decided to ask: does your child's school cancel or shorten class during parent-teacher conferences?

My son's new school cancels two days of class for parent-teacher conference week and then has short days for the rest of the week. At his old school we'd just have the conferences after normal school hours ...

Nope, ours start almost immediately after school times and run until the evening for a couple of nights.

Ds's is after his normal school day, and during the last one 8 minute slots lasted for between 15 & 25 minutes for all of us, so the teachers were working well into their own time.
