Canned Tomatoes?

I've made Seren some spag bol using the Cow and Gate Tomato and Basil sauce, but there isn't enough sauce so it's come out quite dry... I only have canned tomatoes in the cupboard, can I boil these up and use these to make a sauce?

yea i give DD sauce made from tinned tomatoes. I buy them packet sauces on occasion too and i'll bulk it out a bit more with water and tomato puree

I've given tinned but I think chopping 1 fresh one with some puree and dried herbs makes a nice little portion of fresh sauce

yep i've given tinned too, and i do what mervs_mum does with tomato puree, basil and fresh tomatoes, all depends when i've been shopping x
