Im only 16 weeks but ive been thinkin of names for a while!

Boys names seem to be easy for me!! & we have decided on Oliver or Jack for a boy...but if its oliver i want to shorten it to Ollie, My OH wants it spelt Olly!! It sounds silly i know!

Girls names are hard!! Really hard!! We like Lillie but again my OH wants it lilly and i want ie!

ne other girls names would be good?? please help girls!!

Last name is Jones so anything really matches just cant agree!!

Hey, had to reply to this thread my brother's called Oliver and is christened that but has always been called Ollie. He spells his name Oli and gets really annoyed that I still insist on spelling his name Ollie (which I prefer dont like the olly spelling). He was always Oliver on all his offical documents you know class lists, birth certificate etc but is Ollie (or oli in everything else). Don't think I've helped but made me giggle reading about the spelling I think Ollie looks better. Love they name Lilly it's so pretty but think that looks better with a 'y' for some reason. Maybe you and your husband could have a name each and decide on the spelling to save arguments!!

Other ideas for girls name: sophie, phoebe, daisy or maybe poppy. My husband loves the name jessica which isnt a name we can use as last name is James and I'm not sure jessie james is right :-) Anyway hope that helps its always hard with names sure when you see your little one your know which name is right.

My boy's a Jack and i love it :)

I like for a girl:

Lily
Olivia
Lola
Lucie
Phoebe
Fiona

I was torn between Mia and Millie for my daughter and i went with Mia!

Hope this gives you some ideas!

I love the name Oliver... and i actually think Oliver Jack sounds great together! I prefer the spelling Ollie, too... although... if i named my son Oliver i would prefer people call him Oliver, not Ollie. Not too keen on Ollie.

I think Lilly looks better than Lillie -- really love Lilliana as a full name!

Some other suggestions --

Molly
Lucy
Kaylie
Kylie
Jaylin
Ashlyn
Addison (Addy)
Madelyn (Maddy)
Kaelyn
Lacey
Hollie

Lilly Anne would sound nice imho!xx

Have you thought of Lillian and shortening it?
