So I know I saw a few threads like this but I can't help but worry..

This is my little bean #2 and I am 16w4d. I felt flutters really early on, but now I can't feel much at all :nope: Just a bit of pressure from time to time and what I think may be movement ends up seeming as though its just gas

I had a sono 3 weeks ago and all was well... Yet I can't help but be nervous since the baby seemed so active and they said nothing about an anterior placenta. I have to wait 8 days until I get another and it's driving me crazy!! Please someone give me some peace of mind before I run myself in to a wall

Keep thinking about the stuff you already mentioned, like the positioning of the placenta. My doctor doesn't even look for that type of stuff until the 20 week ultrasound so it might be that they just aren't aware yet. Even if it has nothing to do with placenta position, everything is most likely fine. 16-17 weeks is still fairly early to be feeling a lot of movement, even if it isn't the first pregnancy. My doctors have always said don't count on feeling a lot until mid 20's. They said sure, it can be sooner but there is no reason for concern if it isn't felt much before then. You could also have a more relaxed baby. And/or you could be sleeping thru baby's movements. A lot of times they are awake when we are asleep. haha

This is true- thank you :) that's pretty comforting to hear. I know I shouldn't worry and then I see so many things about how much earlier ladies are feeling their second babies. Ugh! I wish I could just put the thought out of my mind <\3

My LO went really quiet around that time too, and I was worried as well but this is my first. I knew they wouldn't do anything for me at the doctors because I was so early so I just waited it out. A few days into week 18 he started kicking again. He still has some quiet days and other days he's all over the place. I think around that time they go through growth spurts and sleep more.

Pm- yes it was the same with my son!! I guess I am just worried since I have read a bunch of stories about how much earlier ladies feel their second one kicking :( I know it sounds silly that I still worry after people have assured me all is well.. I just can't help it ;(

This is my third and I felt pretty much nothing until almost 20 weeks! I did find out I have an anterior placenta, but now I feel him all the time.

Pp- Thank you :) That's comforting! At this point I am kind of hoping that's what is happening to me. Not that I would wish it, but I'm just so nervous I want an explanation ;(

I've only just, in the last week started feeling movement, this is my 2nd LO too.. I felt dd1 from 16 weeks but this little monkey had taken a lot longer, I felt flutters at around 10 weeks but nothing after that until now who h has had me worried because I had a mc in February.

My lo is fine and very very active on scans I just can't feel her, my placenta is anterior so she's kicking that, it's only now she's a bit bigger that I feel her but it depends where she's lying, I have hardly felt her today, had my 20 week scan yesterday and she was so lively, kicking and punching away and I couldn't feel any of it so don't worry hun, I'm sure all is fine x

Thanks for the feedback!! I am feeling a bit better but I still can't wait to get that sono :p when did you find out you had an anterior placenta?? They said nothing to me at my 13 week scan.

I had a private gender scan at 18 weeks, they told me then and again yesterday at 20 weeks, I don't think they can tell the position of the placenta at 13 weeks, I'm guessing it would be too small to know for sure.x

Oh thank you sooo much!!! This definitely gives me a lot of peace :) whew

at my 13 week scan (first tri screening), they said nothing about the placenta. When I went in for the gender scan at 16 weeks, it was a different tech- she didn't even measure the baby but casually mentioned that I have an anterior placenta.

I'm still impatiently waiting for movements....

I found out at my 20 week scan, I asked though, I don't know if she would have told me if I hadn't, but I knew that I had been feeling nothing and was wondering if that was why. She just confirmed my suspicion! That was my 4th scan, it had never been mentioned to me before then.

You ladies have made me feel 10x better :) I really appreciate the support and feedback!!! <3 dunno what I would do without this website sometimes ^_^

This is my second and I felt my daughter at 17 weeks so I expected it to be sooner this time - I'm only just getting movements now.

I know its hard to remember but every pregnancy is different!

I knowww but I would absolutely go nuts if I lost this baby. I am not a strong person lol. Thank you for the feedback :)!!

With my first I didn't feel flutters until 19 weeks... with this I started to at 16 weeks but he went very quite for a week at a time from 16-23 weeks.

I think we all get our heads wrapped around the idea that we HAVE to feel baby number 2 more than number 1 when really, all babies are different, and there's probably nothing to worry about :)

At this point in your pregnancy they're not checking on baby movement. My OB/Doctor never asked if I felt regular movement until I had like 23 weeks :p

I think you are right :p I just was expecting to feel her and so very excited as well!! I guess I'm gonna have to buckle down and be patient >_<

I'm pregnant with my 2nd and I was the same as u, even at 20 it was little kicks. Don't worry about it hun everyone is different.

Thank you!! :) I am feeling much better about it today- when I was feeding DS earlier I thought I even felt a kick :3
