can't find any related stories... bleeding and pain

I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. I have had mild cramps on and off the past week or so but I figured that was normal. Today after eating not even half a sandwich (spicy actually if that means anything...) I ran to the bathroom with lower abdomen pain. It was pretty bad. Noticed I had light bleeding (for the first time since I've been pregnant). I was in the restroom and finished my business hoping it was more intestinal pain for about 20 minutes. The pain slowly went to just soreness and lasted an additional half hour or so. It was not like any bathroom pain I had ever felt. Also, this all took place about an hour after intercourse. I don't know what's related to the pain and bleeding and what's not. I just know that it hurt really bad and the time that soreness in my gut lasted afterwards I also had chills and just didn't feel right. I've heard all these symptoms before in one way or another just can't find anything exactly similar. Please let me know what you think this might be. First pregnancy so I'm definitely naive to the whole thing.

sounds like you annoyed the area with sex...i would be on pelvic rest for a few days and if u bleed heavier call ur doctor

I had a similar experience at 5 weeks. It turned out to be a sub chorionic hemorrhage. They are actually quite common especially in those who have sex during pregnancy. If this is what it is get lots of of rest and drink lots of water. Like PP said, pelvic rest. No sex, no exercise, no heavy lifting, or anything that can cause uterine contractions. Can you get an ultrasound done?
