I only have 6 weeks left, it's time to get this name thing nailed down once and for all. But it looks like I'm going to need some help. Come on, ladies, I have faith that you'll help me figure this out.
We've been calling my bump "Max" for months now. Neither of us are fond of the more formal version of Maxwell.
So we're thinking of going with just Max as a first name. Possibly even making it Maxx with a rogue X added at the end just to make it a bit different, stronger.
The problem I'm having is that nothing sounds right following Max, so for a middle name, I'm stumped.
My husband says that we don't have to have Max in the name, we can name him whatever we want, just call him Max, but I don't like that idea for two reasons.
First, we'd have to start completely over and find another name we both agree on.
And secondly, I'm not fond of giving a kid 2 names and still call them something not related to either of those names (initials are fine, shortened names are fine, even cute nicknames are fine, but I don't want to name him Adam James and call him Max, kwim?).
Does anyone have any suggestions on what would sound good after Max? And what do you think of Maxx with 2 X's? Is it too weird?
