Car help, reguarding tax

Evening all, can you help me at all?

So Im getting my car back on the road.

I am my insurance in place to start 1st Feb, and the MOT was sorted out today, so I planned to tax my car on 1st Feb, but here is where I am confused. My log book is still registered at my mums address, and my driving license and insurance address is my address.

Will this be a problem in me taxing it? Can I just tax it and then change the address afterwards?

Also, I used the reminder to SORN my car about 2 weeks ago, do you know if I can still use that reminder to tax it?

my car is still registered to my mum&dads address despite me moving out a year+ ago... the tax disc will just get sent to their address.

i always tax my car online & never had it SORN so cant help there, maybe as a pp said give DVLA a ring. x

Just do it online, it'll soon tell you if it works or not.

Go to the Post Office and tax it and make sure you update your V5 details asap.
