I'm certain I'm not imagining things; I look totally different now than I did before LO. And no I'm not talking saggy boobs and wider hips (well, that too). I'm at my 'normal' weight now, what I have generally been throughout my teen and adult life when I'm not purging or on a binging spree. I'm 22, about 5'5, and 9.4 stone.
When I was 19 and at this weight I wasn't happy with myself, but I wasn't huge and I could have probably bared my stomach in private without embarrassment, and on a good day I felt thin and almost confident. My tummy was flat and although I've always been curvy I was skinny curvy, IYKWIM?
Now though, I look massive. In clothes it isn't an issue so much but naked I'm gross. My tummy is just a huge fat bulge, and I'm sure my legs and arms are bigger. Even my ribs seem covered in lard. I'm honestly not imagining things, I really am bigger and more wobbly than before. I know loose skin is a part of it but surely it isn't all?! Maybe looser stomach muscles from pregnancy but my LO is 2 and I work out quite a bit. Is fat simply stored differently after a baby?! Even at 115lbs I wasn't looking skinny. Anyone else found a totally different body reflection after kids? Do I simply have to accept that my 'skinny weight' is lower!?
