Hi ladies.

I had a planned c section 5 weeks ago this coming Thursday and everything has been going great so far. However I've been feeling a little under the weather today and have a fever of 102.2f/39c and some slight abdominal pain. I've had the abdominal pain for a few days now but just put it down to the numbness wearing off around my incision.

I'm just wondering if I should be worried that the abdominal pain is now accompanied with the fever? Or perhaps I'm just coming down with a bug?
My incision looks pretty healthy but is still a little swollen.

Thanks for any help :) x

Since you have a fever id go get it checked. By 5 weeks I felt normal, but again, i'm not you so whats normal for me may not be yourself. But the abominal pain and fever could be a sign for a infection. So please get it checked. As an internal infection wont be noticable outside.

Thanks for the advice. I too felt "normal" from about 2 weeks pp. Thats why I'm a bit concerned that the pain has returned. Rang the doctors surgery this evening and was told to ring again in the morning to see if there were any cancellations so hopefully I'll get seen! X
