Cautious, happy disbelief.

So, I had my second ultrasound of this crazy pregnancy yesterday and saw a baby with a healthy heartbeat measuring 8w4d. The crazy part: it was exactly 8w4d after the bleeding started for a 6w miscarriage in October. My doctor seemed a little surprised, but less shocked than I was.

I've been afraid to let myself get too excited about this pregnancy, but I feel more relaxed now. Next stop: genetics blood work in two weeks. Here's hoping things continue to go well!
